Credentials

Professional Credentials

US-IDIR issues several distinct credential types. Each represents a different depth of study and assessment.

Certificate of Participation

Awarded for attending a short program, workshop or seminar. It confirms attendance and does not involve a formal assessment.

Certificate of Completion

Confirms that a learner has completed all required lessons and activities of a course. It records completion rather than assessed mastery.

Professional Certificate

Awarded on successful completion of a structured course, including a passing grade on the final examination. It demonstrates focused, course-level professional knowledge.

Professional Certification

A higher credential earned by completing required courses, passing a certification examination and an applied project.

Executive Certificate

A condensed, high-level credential for senior professionals, emphasizing applied leadership and strategy over foundational content.

Professional Diploma

A comprehensive, multi-course credential representing extended study and assessment across a full field of professional practice.

Digital Badge

A verifiable, shareable digital credential that accompanies certificates and certifications, with details of the issuer, criteria and a verification link.

School-level recognition

Completing a full school

Learners who complete all ten courses in a school, pass every proctored examination and defend a capstone before a review panel receive a school diploma, the school’s institutional designation (for example, CIRG), a digital badge and a full transcript.

Designations are issued by US-IDIR as institutional recognitions. They are not licenses, government certifications or academic degrees.
